You are not alone.

Last weekend my son sat in Ohio with friends from his church watching the live stream of a global Christian conference. He texted that the session they were watching happened to be in the same city where my daughter was traveling. She was able to catch some of it in person, while I tuned in from Wisconsin. Thousands of miles apart we were all worshiping together. One small part of a worldwide 25 hour event. As a session ended in one time zone, another one started in the next until they had circled the globe, bringing Christians together in worship and prayer.

I often focus on the blessings of solitude and time alone with God. But this reminded me of the joy of knowing other believers; knowing even when we're not together, we're together.

If you find yourself feeling alone remember we are brought together by our faith and the common ground that we all sin and are saved by grace through faith in the same Jesus.

Hebrews 10:23-25 NIV

[23] Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. [24] And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, [25] not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Search Gather25 for replays of the worldwide event.
