Meet The Family
Mutt's immediate family is his wife of over 30 years, a daughter and a son. Our roots are in Indiana and Nebraska. But we have enjoyed many blessing from God and life in the Northwoods for our time as a family of 4.
Mike "Mutt" Rieck
Founder & Co-Director
Mutt studied at Concordia Chicago and Concordia St. Paul with lots of undergrad work in Christian Education, Outdoor Education and Theology in addition to earning a degree in Management / Information Technology.
His career began with seven years in full time youth ministry at two different churches in Minnesota. After spending the next several years in management and IT positions, he served just over 12 years at Camp Luther in northern WI. After a few years selling cars, Mutt is now an Associate with Thrivent Financial.
In addition to being on full time staff at two congregations, Mutt has also worked with many churches of all sizes in various other volunteer and professional situations. He currently serves as a Bible study leader, technology volunteer, and children's ministry helper as a member of Our Savior, Eagle River.
Mutt has a wide range of ministry and leadership experience as both a professional and volunteer. Together with his passion for personal and family ministry, this makes him a great resource for your family or congregation.

Marlene Rieck
Co-Director, Wife Extraordinaire
After serving as a Lutheran teacher for over 10 years and then taking care of the home and family while the kids were young, Marlene is currently the full time Director of Music and Children's Ministry at Our Savior, Eagle River.
