I thought I had lost something while mowing the other day. I was pretty unhappy until I saw that it had fallen under the seat and was not lost at all. I said “Yay God” and went on my way. I’ve been trying to do that more - to acknowledge God when good things happen, great or small. The harder thing I'm working on is to say “Yay God” when something bad happens. Not so much to thank Him for the problem, but because He's with me even in the trouble.
In my experience God gives us the good things and gets us through the bad. The best part is He’s doing that whether we acknowledge it or not, but things sure feel better when we focus on Him and not the situation.
Yay God!
